Santiago's Parallel RSA Cracker Simulation

A Scale Model of Distributed.net


This is a Java applet that implements a simulation of attempting to break an RSA-encoded message whose key is not known. It simulates a computer network with one server that sends blocks of potential keys to other computers, which try them all by brute force and report back the results, like the actual distributed.net. It's really rather technical in nature and not all that exciting to watch. If you're interested, I suggest you read the short write up below, which includes links to the complete source.
